Upon arrival, we were impressed by the welcoming owners of the hotel. the clean and cozy rooms provided a comfortable stay. the street noise was minimal at night. Just wish the beds were larger. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel.

The hotel was a vacation base for enjoying a central area, next to San Diego and Santa Barbara, all the fun things to do and quick serve markets. The location was unbeatable, the staff was easy going. I tried some drinks at bar Hapa J's, located 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were updated with a queen bed, everything was perfect;)))

The room was newly decorated and spotlessly clean, which I really appreciated.

The INN is very comfortable, quite yet close to Downtown San Clamente. Staff are SUPER AMAZING! Helpful, kind, friendly, wonderful vibe! If i go back to San Clamente, i would definatelly stay there again! It had everything i needed! Clean, comfortble, very beautiful outdoor kitchen & BBQ, with patio area and fire pit. Excellent way to cook your dinner while watching the sun setting. 5min drive from the Calafia beach, and 3min drive from Ave. Del Mar (downtown main st.)

everything was PERFECT!

nothing fancy, just a perfect, simple place for relaxing by the beach. small, quaint, and comfortable. the staff was most friendly and very accomodating. will be back next time for sure!

The online reviews don't lie. The owner, Dana is super friendly and helpful. I will go back just to see her again. Good customer service is worth more than an oceanview to me. Other pluses were the early check in and late check out options (by request based on availability), walking distance to food, and the beach a few turns in a car away! I came to write a book over the three day weekend and this was the perfect spot to accomplish that mission!

My room could have been a little cleaner on the details (I.E., dusting), but for the price and motel-type vibe I wasn't being picky. And there was nothing to be done about this really, but be prepared for things to be a bit...buggy. It's the beach! It's not horrible, but they were around. On a similar "nothing can be done" note, there was an incorrigible cricket that hung about in my room the whole weekend, and it was very loud but hey, what can ya do? Headphones solved that problem mainly.

Very casual and laid back surfer-style hotel with a great price.
